Dr. Ir. Michiel Kraak is an experienced manager in the field of biometrics and security related projects. As Corporate Development Director at Joh. Enschedé B.V. his responsibilities included corporate strategy, M&A and technology policies. Later he was General Manager of business unit Biometric Security of Joh.Enschede.
As of 2002 he seconded as CEO of Dartagnan Biometric Solutions, the joint-venture established with Schiphol International. He was advisor of of the Dutch minister of Transport & Infrastructure and Interim Manager of R&D organisation of the Dutch ministry for Public Homing & Environment. He was Auditor of large e-commerce project based on a PeopleSoft implementation of a large Dutch commercial bank, Manager of Dutch air defence consortium and Interim manager of Dutch electrical and software engineering contractor. Former employments where at Océ Research & Development and Assistant Professor at the Dutch University of Technology, faculty of Electrical Engineering.
